The New Leam is expanding its exhaustive coverage of grassroot issues and doing its best to address issues that shape life in the remote corners of India whether it is in the field of politics and economy or culture and environment. It is for this mission that we require more correspondents from various regions in India ( from the northern, southern, eastern and western regions) so that a more detailed coverage of local/grassroot issues can be taken up. We are looking for reporters who wish to work part-time with us on this project and are enthusiastic about covering important issues in their regions in the form of articles/reports/photo-essays/interviews and videos.
The candidates will require to have proficiency in the English language and be adequately computer-friendly. If you know of interested candidates with a sharp analytical capacity, taste for news and a grasp over local issues then kindly suggest them to us.

Interns are incorporated into editorial process, learning – how The New Leam stories are identified, researched and written. They learn to perform various tasks to assist editors with stories; primary responsibilities include research, fact-checking, proofreading, transcribing interview material, editing online content, and compiling information.

Internship are open for candidates in and out of Delhi . We offer honorarium to only Delhi based interns. However you are ensured of an enriching learning experience and will be provided duly stamped certificate of Internship completion.
