A Film by The New Leam

Hydroelectric projects, construction of massive dams, development of roads and many other infrastructural and real estate ventures have lead to large scale felling of trees, landslides, earthquakes,climatic upheaval and loss of land fertility. The massive encroachment and destruction of the Himalayas is a grave collective concern. This film looks at the problem through the eyes of the local inhabitants of Uttarakhand.

The New Leam has no external source of funding.
